The coronavirus pandemic has hit almost every country, region, and territory of every part of the globe. The COVID-19 outbreak has flipped children's lives completely upside down. COVID-19 cases are growing globally, threatening to overload life-saving health systems and putting children's lives at risk. The COVID-19 outbreak has wreaked havoc throughout India. Still, India faces countless deaths and hundreds of thousands of children despite our massive preventive measures. Fear and worry are common sentiments about India's shutdown.
Many children in India are becoming the covert victims of the COVID-19 outbreak. Considerable families face excessive stress under lockdown, with many experiencing financial uncertainty. Quite a few children are missing out on life-saving vaccines. Children experience advancing threats to their safety and well-being and react to abuse and negligence without fault. Due to the lack of access to remote areas, numerous children are in trouble of losing their lives to diseases. Agricultural Indian families cover their healthcare costs through loans, asset sales, or by soliciting assistance from friends and family to cover hospital stays expenses.

He dreams of a world where all children are free, safe, healthy, in school, and perceive the full potential of the young generation. Mr Kailash Satyarthi's goal is to abolish child labour, slavery, and violence against children. His outstanding services provided 35,000 protective items like PPEs and sanitation kits among children. India witnessed in COVID-19 outage that devoted KSFC team members distributed over 5,000,000 food parcels throughout 20 Indian states. Mr Kailash Satyarthi and his teammates support 32,000 families and 10,000 rescued child labourers.
Why are Kailash Satyarthi's works inspirational?
Mr Kailash Satyarthi works with two primary objectives.
- Assist children who have lost their parents to the Pandemic.
Mr Kailash Satyarthi is trying to contact exposed children who have lost one or both parents due to the epidemic and require emergency care at children's homes and schools with dormitory facilities.
- Provide medical and cleansing kits to children living in shelter homes.
Children in childcare institutions are experiencing heightened insecurity and urgently need attention, care, and protection. Mr Kailash Satyarthi has initiated the distribution of life-saving medications, oxygen concentrators, cylinders, and sanitation kits to 50 childcare facilities in Delhi and the National Capital Region. Each life-saving unit will consist of an oxygen concentrator, an oximeter, infrared thermometers, a steam machine, masks, sanitisers, and ORS packets.
How can you support it?
The annual cost at a children's home/school with dorm amenities is around INR 260,000 / USD 3,500, while the monthly budget is around INR 22,000 / USD 300. Currently, the expense for each kit is INR 100,000 / USD 1400. You may help the KSFC movement by donating whatever amount suits you.
